After harvesting, stevia leaves undergo a meticulous cleaning process to remove any dirt and impurities. Following this, the stevia leaves are typically air-dried or subjected to low-temperature dehydration methods. These techniques are employed to preserve the natural sweetness, medicinal properties, and bioactive compounds present in the leaves. Once dried, the stevia leaves can be further processed by grinding into a fine powder, which concentrates their sweetening properties.
