Fluorene Myristate, also known as N-Myristoyl Fluorene-9-Carboxylic Acid or Fluorene-9-Carboxylic Acid N-Myristoyl Amide, is a synthetic compound made by esterifying myristic acid with fluorene carboxylic acid. It is a white or off-white, powdery solid with a molecular formula of C27H31NO2.

Fluorene Myristate is produced through a reaction between myristic acid and fluorene carboxylic acid, in the presence of a catalyst and heat. The esterification reaction forms an ester bond, resulting in the formation of a Myristoyl Fluorene compound. The product is then purified through various techniques such as crystallization, recrystallization, and distillation to obtain the desired purity.
