Acer truncatum contains many bioactive constituents like beta-amyrin, astragalin, quercetin-3-O-beta-D-galactoside,quercetin-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnoside, p-sitosterol, dihydroxy-4-methoxybenzoic acid, beta-amyrin acetate, linoleic acid, nervonic acids, erucic acid, and oleic acid. This oil is good source of vitamin E that acts as an antioxidant and reduce the harmful effect of oxidative stress. It has many health beneficial role.
