          Giant knotweed is widely grown throughout Japan and is foraged as a wild edible vegetable. The root of Polygonum cuspidatum, were widely used in traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine. It is also known to be a rich source of resveratrol, which is a natural polyphenol. Emodin, physcion, citreorosein, rhein, fallacinol, questin, phenylpropanoides , polyphenols, and tannins are major active components present in this root. It is a good source of reveratrol, and carotenoids that act as a potent antioxidant that minimizes the effect of harmful oxidative stress. It is good for the heart, and gastrointestinal tract health.

          The Giant Knotweed extract powder that we provide has moisture content below 5%. The Moisture content of the product facilitates the growth of micro-organisms in the product, which increases the risk of biological hazards. Moisture content below 5% in our product ensures better control of microbial growth and, in turn, enhances shelf life.

          Suitable Mesh size can be determined based on its end application. We can provide Giant Knotweed extract powder with various mesh sizes ranging from 40-100 mesh.
