Oleanolic acid glycosides, α-, β-amyrins, Faradiol, Quercetin, Lutein, and Isorhamnetin are the major active components present in this attractive flower. It has a rich content of carotenoids, which are extracted and used in food preparation as a coloring ingredient.It is well known for its medicinal properties and health benefits.
