Finely ground green tea leaves that are native to East Asia. Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), epigallocatechin (EGC), epicatechin gallate (ECG), and epicatechin are the major active components of matcha tea powder. It is also a good source of chlorophyll, theanine, caffeine, rutin, quercetin, and vitamin C. Chlorophyll is responsible for vibrant color and caffein for its aroma and flavour. Secondary metabolites like phenolic and polyphenolic compounds are present in quite good amounts that modulate carbohydrate and lipid metabolism. Matcha tea is a powerhouse of potent antioxidants that help in stabilizing unstable free radicles. Intake of this tea is good for cells, heart, and brain health.

Matcha tea is a special powerful form of green tea high in catechin called EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate).

The nutrients present in Matcha Tea are catechins, vitamin C, epigallocatechin gallate, epigallocatechin, epicatechin gallate, epicatechin, lutathion peroxidase, catalase, glutathione reductase, flavonoids, chlorogenic acid, gallic acid, p-hydroxybenzoic acid, caffeic acid, ferulic acid, ellagic acid, quercetin and theanine.

GMO products are risks to food safety. Hence, we do not accept Organic Match Tea Powder from the farms and facilities where GMO crops are grown and processed.

We generally test total plate count (TPC), Yeast and mold, E. Coli & Salmonella in our products. In order to prevent and control biological hazards, we ensure that microbial parameters in our products comply with microbial limits as specified by the USP.

Mesh size is also known as sieve size. It is a measurement of particle size defined as the number of openings in one square inch of a screen. Here Organic Match Tea Powder is 90% Passes through #100 mesh. The size of the powder particle can be customized as per requirement.

We test total heavy metals, lead, arsenic, mercury, and cadmium in our products. These heavy metals by numerous studies are purported to be toxic for human consumption beyond certain limits and are known carcinogens. We also ensure that our product complies with California prop 65 regulations for lead content below 0.5 ppm levels.

This product contains an ash value of not more than 5% as more ash value indicates impurities or the addition of inorganic metal salts in the product. Ash value is the residue remaining after incineration of the drug or plant part. It represents the amounts of inorganic salts naturally occurring in the ingredient and adhering to it. It also includes inorganic matter, which helps to identify adulteration. Hence, ash value is important.
