          Organic Turmeric Powder is made by drying and grinding the root of the Curcuma longa plant, which belongs to the Zingiberaceae family. Tulsi is rich in curcumin, a natural polyphenolic compound known for its potent antioxidant properties, along with other phytoconstituents such as demethoxycurcumin and bisdemethoxycurcumin. These bioactive compounds contribute to its wide range of uses in dietary supplements and food applications.           We provide Organic Turmeric Powder with moisture content below 5%. The moisture content of the product facilitates the growth of microorganisms in the product, which in turn increases the risk of biological hazards. Moisture content below 5% in our product ensures better control of microbial growth and, in turn, increased shelf life.

          Generally, the color is yellow. Curcuminoids generally impart darker color to the turmeric powder. Hence darker color could also be attributed to the higher curcuminoid content of the product.

          It is the residue remaining after the incineration of the drug or plant part. Ash value represents the number of inorganic salts naturally occurring in the ingredient and adhering to it. It also includes inorganic matter, which helps to identify adulteration. Ash value greater than 5% is an indicator of the addition of inorganic metal salts in the product.

          We accept ash value below 5% because more content of ash value represents more impurities that adversely affect human health when consumed.

          The mesh size we provide is generally between 40-80 mesh.

          The mesh size is an important factor when the product will be subjected to further processing like encapsulation, tablet making, etc. The end application of the product generally helps in determining which mesh size is suitable to buy. Preformulation studies will help in the selection of particular mesh size.

          No, we do not accept organic material having pesticide content. Our Products are tested in globally recognized third-party labs like Eurofins, SGS &TUV. The products are tested for pesticides as per the USDA 561 list of prohibited pesticides and European Union Minimum Residual limits (MRLs) on pesticides. When pesticides are found below the level of detection (LOD), we accept products as Organic in addition to relevant certifications.

          Genetically modified organisms may pose significant and challenging risks to food safety. We do not accept turmeric powder from the farms and facilities where GMO crops are grown and processed.

          Organic Turmeric Powder is obtained from plant parts. Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (TSE) and Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) are prion-induced disease sources of which are animals. We take into account the synthetic, vegetable, mineral, animal origin of the product to eliminate contamination risks.
