Product Description

Calcium carbonate granules DC grade refer to granulated particles of calcium carbonate that are specifically manufactured for use in various industries. These granules are of high purity and are produced through a controlled and precise process. Calcium carbonate, a common mineral compound, is the main component of these granules. They possess excellent chemical and physical properties, making them suitable for a wide range of applications. The DC grade designation indicates that the granules have undergone a specific drying and granulation process, resulting in a uniform size and shape, which enhances their handling and usability. These granules are commonly used in the pharmaceutical, food, agriculture, and construction industries, where they serve various purposes such as a filler, calcium supplement, pH adjuster, and coating material.

Product Use

Production & Sourcing

Calcium D-Gluconate is a mineral salt that is derived from gluconic acid and calcium carbonate. It is a white, odorless, and tasteless powder that is highly soluble in water. Calcium D-Gluconate is commonly used as a calcium supplement and is also added to food and beverages as a nutritional supplement. Calcium D-Gluconate is primarily produced by reacting gluconic acid with calcium carbonate. The resulting calcium gluconate is then purified and dried to produce the final product. The production process is relatively simple and can be carried out on a large scale, making calcium D-Gluconate readily available and cost-effective.The main source of gluconic acid used in the production of Calcium D-Gluconate is corn syrup, which is derived from corn starch. This makes the source of Calcium D-Gluconate primarily vegetarian and suitable for those following a plant-based diet.
