Oranges are round citrus fruits that are typically grown in warm, subtropical regions. The top three producers of oranges in the world are Brazil, China, and India. Other major producers include the United States, Mexico, and Spain.

The production of oranges involves a labor-intensive process that begins with the planting of orange trees. These trees can take up to three years to produce fruit, and once they start bearing fruit, they can continue to do so for up to 50 years. The flowers on the orange tree usually appear in the early spring and are hand-pollinated to ensure optimal fruit growth.

As the oranges ripen, they are hand-picked from the tree and sorted according to size and quality. They are then washed to remove any dirt or debris and waxed to improve their appearance and shelf life. After this, the oranges are packaged and shipped to markets and supermarkets around the world.

The moisture content of the product facilitates the growth of microorganisms in the product, which in turn increases the risk of biological hazards. Moisture content below 5% in our product ensures better control of microbial growth and, in turn, increased shelf life.

To prevent and control biological hazards, we ensure that microbial parameters in our products comply with microbial limits as specified by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP). We generally test total plate count (TPC), Yeast and mold, E Coli & Salmonella in our products.

Yes, this product is Gluten-free, and the supplies materials come from a dedicated manufacturing facility for the product mentioned above, which is wheat-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, peanut-free, tree nut-free, and soy-free. All production facilities are HACCP compliant and strictly follow current Good Manufacturing (cGMPs). In addition, the HACCP Practices program strictly observes any cross-contamination and food safety issues.

We test total heavy metals, lead, arsenic, mercury, and cadmium in our products. These heavy metals by numerous studies are purported to be toxic for human consumption beyond certain limits and are known carcinogens. We also ensure that our product complies with California prop 65 regulations for lead content below 0.5 ppm levels.
