Organic Pea Protein Powder, Fermented is derived from the yellow pea, scientifically known as Pisum sativum, which belongs to the Fabaceae family. This plant-based protein is highly regarded for its high protein content and digestibility, making it a popular choice for those seeking a natural, vegan-friendly protein source. Organic Pea Protein Powder is produced from organically grown yellow peas. The peas are harvested, cleaned, and processed to remove the outer shell. The inner pea is then ground into a fine powder. The fermentation process involves introducing beneficial microorganisms that break down the pea proteins into smaller, more easily digestible peptides. This process not only improves the protein’s digestibility but also increases the availability of essential amino acids. Organic Pea Protein Powder, Fermented, is rich in protein, containing all nine essential amino acids necessary for muscle growth and repair. It is also a good source of iron, calcium, and other vital nutrients. The fermentation process enhances the nutritional profile by increasing the levels of certain vitamins, such as B vitamins, and improving the absorption of minerals. Organic Pea Protein Powder, Fermented, has a mild, earthy flavour with a slightly nutty undertone. Its neutral taste makes it a versatile ingredient that can be easily incorporated into various recipes. It blends well into smoothies, shakes, and protein bars, providing a high-protein boost without overpowering the other flavors. It can also be added to baked goods, soups, and sauces to enhance their nutritional value. To maintain its potency and shelf life, store Organic Pea Protein Powder, Fermented, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the container is tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption and contamination.

Green pea sprouts are produced by germinating green pea seeds under controlled conditions. The process begins with selecting high-quality, organic green pea seeds that have been thoroughly cleaned and sorted. The seeds are then soaked in water for a period of 8-10 hours to enhance their moisture content and initiate the sprouting process.
After soaking, the seeds are placed in a sprouting tray or other suitable container with a moist substrate such as a paper towel or vermiculite. The sprouting trays are then kept in a warm, dark environment, with proper ventilation and regular spraying of water to maintain moisture levels. This encourages the seeds to germinate and grow rapidly, as the warm and humid conditions mimic the ideal natural environment needed for sprouting.
Once the sprouts have grown to a desired length of about 2-4 inches, they are harvested by gently removing them from the sprouting tray. The sprouts are then thoroughly washed and sorted before packaging and distribution.
Green pea sprouts are mostly grown domestically, with a few imports coming from countries such as China and India. However, due to their quick germination time and easy growth, they can also be cultivated in home gardens and small-scale farms.
