It is a good source of vitamin B1, B2, B3, and C protein, and minerals like magnesium, calcium, copper, and iron. The major active component of spirulina is phycocyanin. It act as a potent antioxidants that provide protection against harmful oxidative species.

It is a complete protein source, containing all the essential amino acids needed by the human body. It is also high in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, making it a popular superfood.

Spirulina is typically grown in open-air ponds in warm, sunny climates. The algae are grown in large, shallow tanks where they are constantly stirred to ensure exposure to sunlight for photosynthesis. The algae are fed a nutrient-rich solution made up of minerals and organic compounds. Once the growth cycle is complete, the algae are harvested and dried to create a powder or flakes.

The moisture content of the product facilitates the growth of microorganisms in the product, which in turn increases the risk of biological hazards. Moisture content below 5% in our product ensures better control of microbial growth and, in turn, increased shelf life. We provide organic spirulina powder with moisture content below 5%.

We can provide organic spirulina powder of various mesh sizes based on the end application. Our most common mesh size for this product is 80 mesh.

Ash value in higher percentage indicates the presence of impurities & inorganic metal salts. It is the residue remaining after the incineration of the drug or plant part. Ash value represents the number of inorganic salts naturally occurring in the ingredient and adhering to it. It also includes inorganic matter, which helps to identify adulteration. Hence, we provide a product with an ash value, not more than 5%.

Our Products are tested in globally recognized third-party labs like Eurofins, SGS &TUV. The products are tested for pesticides as per the USDA 561 list of prohibited pesticides and European Union Minimum Residual limits (MRLs) on pesticides. When pesticides are found below the level of detection (LOD), we accept products.

It is a free-flowing powder having dark green colored with a characteristic odor.

We do not accept irradiated, or ETO treated products as these processes might harm the integrity of the product and is a risk to food safety.

Green to dark-green cyanobacteria. Appears like blue green to green fine uniform powder. The colour does not stain the hand when touched, texture is lax and lusterless, the odour is slight but characteristic; the taste is sweet and slightly salty [2].
