Originating from Europe and Asia, the Valeriana root contains bioactive compounds, including valerenic acids, monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, and iridoid glycosides. From a nutritional standpoint, the root has an array of minerals such as Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Phosphorous, Potassium, Selenium, and Zinc.
