Curcuma aromatica, also known as turmeric and part of the Zingiberaceae family, hails from tropical South Asia. The roots of this plant contain several bioactive components, the most significant of which are curcumin, demethoxycurcumin, and bisdemethoxycurcumin. Curcumin gives turmeric its characteristic bright yellow color. The volatile oil in turmeric contains compounds such as atlantone, tumerone, and zingiberene, which are of considerable interest due to their pharmacological properties. Turmeric, also known as "Indian saffron," is a bright orange-yellow spice widely used in cooking, traditional rituals, and various applications. It is obtained from the root of the Curcuma longa plant, which belongs to the ginger family and is native to the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. Turmeric has been used in India and China for thousands of years, and its use has spread to other parts of the world in recent centuries.After harvesting, the turmeric roots undergo thorough washing and cleaning to remove soil and impurities. Following the cleaning process, the roots are boiled briefly to enhance their color and flavor. They are then dried using methods such as air-drying or low-temperature dehydration to preserve their integrity and natural compounds. Once dried, the turmeric roots are finely ground into a vibrant orange-yellow powder. This powdered turmeric is then packaged in airtight containers to prevent moisture absorption and maintain freshness, ensuring that it retains its quality and rich flavor from production to application.

Any extract we produce is a highly processed product, and microbial limits are controlled because of solvents and temperature employed during the production process.

We provide turmeric root extract powder with moisture content below 5%. The moisture content of the product facilitates the growth of microorganisms in the product, which in turn increases the risk of biological hazards. Moisture content below 5% in our product ensures better control of microbial growth and, in turn, increased shelf life.

It is the residue remaining after the incineration of the drug or plant part. Ash value represents the amount of inorganic salts naturally occurring in the ingredient and adhering to it. It also includes inorganic matter, which helps to identify adulteration. Ash value greater than 5% is an indicator of the addition of inorganic metal salts in the product.

We do not accept material having pesticide content more than its LOD. Our Products are tested in globally recognized third-party labs like Eurofins, SGS &TUV. The products are tested for the presence of pesticides as per the USDA 561 list of prohibited pesticides and European Union Minimum Residual limits (MRLs) on pesticides. When pesticides are found below the level of detection (LOD) we accept products as Organic in addition to relevant certifications.

Genetically modified organisms may pose challenging risks to food safety. We do not accept turmeric root extract powder from the farms and facilities where GMO crops are grown and processed.

Heavy metals when consumed more than their limit may be very harmful to health. Considering the safety of consumers, We test total heavy metals, lead, arsenic, mercury, and cadmium in our products. These heavy metals by several studies are found to be toxic for human consumption beyond certain limits and are known carcinogens. We also ensure that our product complies with California prop 65 regulations for lead content below 0.5 ppm levels. Hence, its safe for human consumption.

We do not accept Irradiated turmeric root extract powder to maintain the integrity of the product.

Consumption of E.coli & salmonella may pose serious health issues like stomach cramps, abdominal pains, nausea, etc. Hence, we do not provide any product containing E.coli or salmonella.

Yes, All the heavy metals contents are within limit and comply with the CA Prop 65 and hence considered to be safe for human consumption.

We test turmeric extract by carbon-14 test which traces its origin to plant-based or synthetic based products. We only accept a product that shows 100% biobased carbon content in the test.
