Production & Sourcing

After harvesting, cinnamon undergoes a thorough cleaning process to remove any dirt and impurities. Following this, the outer bark is stripped away to reveal the inner bark, which is the part used for spice. The inner bark is then typically rolled into quills or sticks and subjected to drying methods such as air-drying or low-temperature dehydration. These methods are chosen to preserve the essential oils, flavor, and aromatic properties present in the bark. Once dried, the cinnamon sticks can be further processed by grinding into a fine powder. This cinnamon powder is then carefully packaged in airtight containers to prevent moisture absorption and maintain freshness, ensuring that the cinnamon retains its quality, flavor, and aromatic properties from harvest to table.
